What is art therapy?

Art therapy It uses the process of artistic creation and expression as a means of self-care. Through a creative experience, it allows for non-verbal self-expression in various forms: metaphorical, symbolic, sensory.

Through 10 years of practice, my approach to art therapy proposes the use of different artistic mediations, according to the needs, such as; elements of nature, land art, modeling, drawing, painting, play, movement and voice.

These artistic expressions are all those I like to use to find myself, refocus, free myself and return to joy and inner peace.

Walking in the forest, breathing exercises, and discussion are also part of the support provided, if it makes sense in the person's process.

Art therapy: for whom?

No artistic skills are necessary for art therapy, as the focus is on the creative process itself, not the finished artwork. Art therapy is suitable for children, adolescents, adults, couples, families, and the elderly. I see clients from the age of 3.

My experience

As a nature lover, I made it my first career. For over 10 years, I worked as a floral designer and taught floral art in Switzerland, London, Madrid and Tokyo.

After my initial professional training, I trained in art therapy, specializing in visual arts. I practiced in private practice and in institutions for ten years. There, I offered various therapeutic approaches to diverse populations ranging from 3 to 103 years old (children, teenagers, adults, couples, and seniors). Singing and dancing are also creative expressions that contribute to my well-being. Therefore, voice and movement are integral to my therapeutic work. .

During art therapy sessions, these two professions, bringing together nature and well-being, unite to invite you to experience moments of creation and a time of reconnecting with yourself.

2012: Diploma in Art Therapy, EATA-Créavie School, Switzerland.
Memory training: Research on the art therapy approach and children with behavioral disorders.

How and where does a session take place?

For sessions that take place remotely, It takes place via telephone, Skype, or video conference. I use a method without creative materials, but with tools such as hypnosis. You simply need to give yourself some quiet time in a space where you can focus solely on yourself and allow a transformative journey.

For in-person sessions, They take place at Les Pléiades in French-speaking Switzerland, either in our studio or outdoors depending on the weather and the individual's preference. A session lasts approximately 1 hour 30 minutes for adults and 1 hour for children/teenagers, because here time becomes a bubble, where we slow down and take the time to delve deeper.

Generally, a session takes place in three stages: welcoming and assessing your needs together, the creative moment, and looking at and discussing the creation.

You are completely free to have just one session or several, depending on your needs.

After the session, you can enjoy this sublime natural setting by taking a stroll in the surrounding area or even climbing to the summit of the Pleiades. It's an opportunity to breathe in the fresh air and integrate what was awakened and developed during the session, surrounded by the beauty and tranquility of nature. You can bring a picnic, and there are even restaurants open to pamper you.

Access By train or car. For the first session, I will pick you up at Lally station. I will walk you up to the chalet, a 10-minute walk on a mountain path, so wear good shoes.
