What we collect and store

During your visit to the site, we are tracking:

  • Products you've viewed: we use them to, for example, display products you've recently viewed
  • Location, IP address and browser type: we use these to estimate taxes and delivery charges
  • Delivery address: we will ask you to enter this to estimate the delivery costs before you place your order, and to send you the order!

We use cookies to track the contents of your shopping cart while you browse our site.

Note: You can detail your cookie policy and link to that section from here.

When you purchase from our website, we will ask you to provide information including your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, telephone number, payment/credit card details, and possibly account details such as username and password. This information will be used to:

  • Send information about your account and order
  • Responding to requests, including refunds and complaints
  • Payment processing and fraud prevention
  • Set up your account for our store
  • Comply with all legal obligations, such as tax calculations
  • Improve our store's offerings
  • We will send you marketing messages, if you choose to receive them.

If you create an account, we store your name, address, email, and phone number, which will be used to pre-fill the order validation for future orders.

We generally store your information for as long as we need it for the purpose for which we collect and use it, and we are not legally required to continue storing it. For example, we store order information for XXX years for tax and accounting purposes. This includes your name, email address, and billing and shipping addresses.

We also store comments or reviews, if you choose to send them.

Payments

Our online store uses the electronic payment solution PostFinance Checkout.

“PostFinance and its partner Customweb process and store participant data abroad, where the data may no longer be covered by data protection provisions comparable to those existing in Switzerland, and in particular by banking secrecy, which does not apply abroad. PostFinance and Customweb may entrust the provision of all or part of their services to third parties. PostFinance is required to carefully select, train (particularly regarding confidentiality) and monitor service providers.”

Conditions of participation of PostFinance Checkout.

We accept payments via PayPal. During payment processing, certain data will be transmitted to PayPal, including information required to execute the payment, such as the total amount or billing information.

Please read the PayPal privacy policy for more details.

Data storage periods

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This allows subsequent comments to be automatically recognized and approved instead of being held in the moderation queue.

For users who register on our site (if this option is available), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can view, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except for their username). Website administrators can also view and edit this information.

Your rights over your data

If you have an account or have left comments on the site, you can request to receive a file containing all the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request the deletion of your personal data. This does not include data stored for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Transmission of your personal data
